New additions to the site

Manhattan_bridge_1909

The Twitter feed on the right side of the screen has been added, thanks to the excellent Tweetable plugin for jQuery. A few other minor changes have been made as well.

Still no luck with the tag cloud though.

But at least this gave me the opportunity to add a sweet picture of the Manhattan Bridge being constructed to the site. Without this update, I might not have had the opportunity to add this.

This site was built on Simpfolio, a custom-built Rails 3-powered platform designed specifically to allow for quick, easy portfolio & employment history management with blogging and résumé building functionality to create a simple, clean home for digital professionals.

Simpfolio is still very much a beta product and a work-in-progress with updates being made all the time. It is not yet available for public use, but will hopefully be in a stable and hands-off enough state soon that people interested can use it for their own site.
